Thunderpants Longline bra, Robben's Artichokes print

Thunderpants was founded in NZ in 1995 by sisters Josie and Sophie Bidwill. They were frustrated by irritating undies and set out to design the ultimate comfy undie… and they did! In 2005 across the world in Portland, OR, Celestial Sipes was experiencing her own frustration with irritating undies (riding up all day long!) until her younger sister sent her a pair of Thunderpants from her travels abroad that solved Celeste’s life-long trouble with undies. When Celeste opened a boutique in 2008, Radish Underground, she reached out to see about carrying Thunderpants and it was the beginning of a wonderful partnership. Celestial launched Thunderpants USA in 2016 with the help of her long time right-hand-woman Brooke. Manufacturing was set up in Portland where Thundies continue to be made today. 

Print: Celeste here! This print was designed for Thunderpants owner Celeste's mom, Robben. According to Celeste, "This is her favorite print, by her favorite illustrator, in her favorite color combo. Elana Gabrielle re-worked this print for our 10th anniversary re-prints in teal/rust and added some little bees. If there are two things to know about my mom, it's that she loves Thunderpants, and she has the most insanely beautiful garden you've ever seen. It's bursting with color and life, bees buzzing everywhere! I call her Mother Summer. She is always out there somewhere with her chic straw hat, basket over one arm, skirt blowing in the breeze. Elana somehow managed to capture this in this print and I hope my mom loves it!" We sure know we do!
