Who we are

 

Sue 

Sue and her husband Eddie moved to Eureka in 1998, seeking a friendly place to build a life together. Sue’s first job in the area was as a sales associate at Belle Starr, and she continued as a loyal customer for the 15 years she taught at the local college and university. After buying Belle Starr in 2014, Sue took on the role of general manager, where she enjoys working with an amazing team--and getting to know customers and other local business owners. Sue is active in supporting local charitable organizations, serves on the Board of Directors for Eureka Main Street and The Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce, enjoys attending cultural events in the community, and can often be found exploring the beautiful redwoods, ocean, mountains, and rivers that provide the setting for Belle Starr's historic Old Town Eureka storefront.

 


Raven

Raven is a Eureka native and started at Belle Starr in 2016. As a team leader and Assistant Manager, she brings a friendliness and warmth to her job everyday. Raven enjoys bike rides on sunny days and spending time with family and friends. 


 

 


Sam

Sam has been a sales associate at Belle Starr since 2021 and served as our former Social Media Manager: you may have seen her around Old Town taking pictures for our social media. Currently working in the dental field, Sam continues as a part-time team member. She says, "My personal favorite thing to assist customers with is jeans! It's so fulfilling when you can find the perfect fit for someone." 


 


Neveah

Neveah is a Eureka native who joined our staff in summer of 2022. Working part-time while studying Art Education at Cal Poly Humboldt, Neveah loves thrifting and painting in her free time. "Helping people feel comfortable and confident is what it's all about for me at Belle Starr," she says.



 

Angela

Angela has lived in Arcata since 2012 and joined the Belle Starr team in 2013. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, She enjoys dancing, teaching, baking, and raising her son River. Angela is currently a part-time sales associate and also installs our amazing window displays for everyone's enjoyment.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth has lived in Eureka since 2017, relocating from Tampa, Florida. She joined the Belle Starr team as a part-time sales associate in 2023. Elizabeth enjoys gardening, decorating, and helping the homeless. She prides herself on great customer service and enjoys conversing with customers.
