Gita and Mark Zeltzer opened a clothing boutique at Melrose Ave in Los Angeles in the mid-1990s, and Gita noticed a gap in the casual clothing market, seeing it as lifeless. Seeking to change the narrative, she designed her first collection in 1996 (XCVI in Roman numerals), and continued to grow the brand with the assistance of designer Lilia Gorodnitski, crafting a line rooted in breathability, versatility, and thoughtful design, built on the belief that feeling good and looking good are inherently connected. The company continues to be run by the Zeltzer children, Alon and Daniela, who areanchored by the same unwavering principle: that style and comfort can and should always go hand in hand.
XCVI, the Signature label, has been designed in Los Angeles for nearly 30 years. XCVI collections offer timeless, effortless clothing you can count on without sacrificing style. No gimmicks—just high-quality, casual, and stylish clothing for just about every day.
