Mary Hayes is a hard-working mom/wife/dog owner from Seattle, who started Flutter in 2009. Over the years, Flutter has grown and changed, but every season Mary creates something that feels and looks great for a range of sizes. Flutter has a casual edgy style, with a dash of whimsy—and pockets, lots & lots of pockets.

Flutter is manufactured in Bali Indonesia, produced by a group of 12 fabulous pattern makers, cutters, and tailors, all local and family owned, and the screen printing and dyeing is done by local Balinese artisans as well. The digital component of Flutter is done in Java, and Mary designs, ships, and runs everything else on her own from Seattle. As Mary explains, “It is true, Flutter is made with Love!”
