"Sevya" is a Sanskrit word that means "caring through service." Sevya is dedicated to preserving the indigenous art forms and cultures of India by supporting the artisan communities who uphold these traditions. All of Sevya's fair trade products are made by artisan groups using centuries-old craft traditions, with the finest natural fibers and materials. Sevya works with artisan cooperatives throughout India to develop contemporary styles and designs that showcase their traditional and eco-friendly methods of handcraft--including hand-loom, block-printing, tie-dye, and embroidery.
Parvati Caftans are made with 100% cupro, which is fabric that is made from the linter fiber of the cotton seed with a soft crepe finish. This fabric has the look and feel of silk, but the lightness and easy care of cotton. These free-size caftans are stitched in our fair trade stitching unit in India and are designed for a comfortable, elegant fit in a range of beautiful prints and colors.

Sizing: Sevya calls this garment "free size." It is 38" in length and should fit most people.
