Cut Loose garments are a keystone of the Belle Starr ethos and look--casual, quality, earth-friendly clothes that will remain in your wardrobe for years to come. Cut Loose clothing is sewn and dyed to order in San Francisco and uses dyes that are non-toxic, and they neutralize their waste water so the salt doesn’t corrode the city’s pipes. Fabric tests are repurposed into scarves, napkins, market bags, even scrunchies--or sale at their factory store. Garments are shipped without hangers or plastic bags, using recycled packaging materials, and even their labeling is minimalist.
Product features: breathable and wrinkle-resistant linen-cotton blend fabric, short sleeves, flattering v-neck with fitted shoulders and top, loosens around middle and bottom hem (note that it does not have the extra fabric in front that is shown in these photos on our shoulder-less mannequin), hits between the waist or hip depending on height. Our longest running, top selling Cut Loose item--also available in 3/4 sleeves!

Cut Loose clothes skim the body for a fluid silhouette. When a Cut Loose garment “fits,” it simultaneously flatters the figure and allows room to really move. Customers often wear their typical size in more fitted items (those with darts or body-hugging fabrics) or a size smaller in less-structured items with “flowy” fabric.
